The Weepies “Be My Thrill” - More of the Same, But Who Cares?

The Weepies return with what sounds like round 2 of Hideaway. They’ve brought back that familiar pop-country sound they introduced on the aforementioned album with seasoned command. Lots of folks cry and whine about progression and artistic transformation but another dozen Weepies gems later and here I am, happy as ever for having bought this record. The Weepies’ Be My Thrill is another success story for the husband/wife duo.

Sean Kangataran LP // Melancholy Indie Rock & Plenty of Personality

An album doesn’t need to be groundbreaking to be a solid effort. Kangataran brings commonly beloved instrumentation to a familiar genre, and does so with enough grace and quiet expertise that the final product is wholly charming.
